I need to get some photos taken of my recent work... but to pass the time, here's a good knitting joke:
A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting! Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and yelled, "PULL OVER!" "NO!" the blonde yelled back, "IT'S A SCARF!"
To get things up and moving, here are a few of my recently completed projects:
A scarf for Nathan featuring the infamous Super Penguin:
An orange set consisting of hat, scarf, and fingerless gloves (the scarf is shell stitch with seed stitch edging):
And a sparkly red and brown hat with a cabled band for nights when I need to dress respectfully (Though I think it makes me look like an egg-headed homeless person):
And a blue fuzzy scarf for Ellen that's being attacked by Mark (I have a deal with the people here that if they buy the wool I'll knit them a scarf...more difficult projects may require financial compensation):
